Welcome to Wishprise. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our birthday surprise creation service.

2. Information We Collect

• Content You Create: Messages, images, and audio files you upload.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about how you interact with our service.
• Device Information: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain our birthday surprise creation service.
• Store and deliver your created surprises to recipients.
• Improve our service through anonymous analytics.
• Display relevant advertisements through Google AdSense on public content pages.
• Prevent fraud and ensure the security of our platform.

4. Data Storage & Retention

Your birthday surprises are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Uploaded media such as audio and voice messages are stored in a private storage bucket and can only be accessed through temporary, time-limited signed URLs generated when the surprise is viewed.

Our data retention policy:

• 48-hour retention: Paid surprise content, wishes, uploaded media, final media, and the paid draft record are deleted after the 48-hour availability window.
• Unviewed surprises: Unviewed surprises remain available through their private link until they are opened, deleted by us, or removed after a support request.
• Deletion requests: If you need a surprise removed before it is opened, email us with the share or view link.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase: For secure database and file storage.
• Vercel: For hosting our web application.
• Google AdSense: To support public content pages with advertising.
• Google Analytics: To understand how users interact with our service.
• Razorpay (India): To process the ₹29 one-time payment that unlocks a private link. Razorpay collects payment information directly; Wishprise does not receive card or UPI credentials.
• Dodo Payments (outside India): To process the one-time payment. Asia outside India uses a ₹29 INR base price; other countries use a US
  base price. Dodo may show a local-currency amount at checkout and collects payment information directly.
